"Tea and Books"

There's something really relaxing and in-the-moment about taking the time to sit down with some hot tea and reading a book. I took a break from playing today to rest my mind and ears and just recharge mentally.

Ever since I watched Midnight in Paris, I've always wondered if Hemingway was really like that in real life. I read about him a few times and got curious about his work and style. I got more interested when I learned of his writing style, which I've read was particularly direct and straightforward. I've never really read Hemingway before (maybe in high school but I don't remember) and thought now would be a good time to read at least one of his work. I found an old copy of The Sun Also Rises somewhere in the house a month or two ago but just started reading it now in between other books that I'm still reading (bad habit I must say).

I've only gotten through the first few pages so far and I'll see if I'll like it enough to finish it soon. Either way, it was a good feeling to just take it easy and read a lot today.
